Wildfires are among the most devastating signs of climate change.
We spend billions of dollars on recovery and relief efforts, yet each summer, fires continue to get worse. It is time to proactively address the causes, not just the aftermath.
The solution is not a secret. In fact, it’s been practiced for centuries: forest management. Thinning and controlled burns in strategic locations to minimize these disasters and create resilient landscapes.
But this is just the beginning of the story.
